Snagging Resistance Tester (Mace)

Application:

Snagging Resistance Tester determines the snagging resistance of fabrics, it’s applicable for woven and knitted fabrics which made from textured or untextured filament yarns or spun yarns.

 

Test method:

Place a tubular specimen on a cylindrical drum of Snagging Resistance Tester, then a spiked ball rebounds randomly against the rotating test specimen.

Visual evaluate the degree of fabric snagging by comparison of the tested specimens with fabrics or photographs of fabrics.
