Application:
Slip Resistance Tester is used to determine the dynamic COF(coefficient of friction) between footwear and floorings under reproducible laboratory conditions for evaluating relative slip performance.
Test Method:
Put on the tested footware to the surface, subject to given a specified force, and move horizontally relative to the surface (or the surface is moved horizontally relative to the item of footwear).
Both the frictional force & normal force are measured and then the dynamic COF can be calculated.
