Application:

Water Permeability Tester measures the resistance of fabric to the penetration of water under hydrostatic pressure. It’s applicable to all kinds of fabrics, including treated with waterproof ot water resistant finish.

Water resistance depends on the repellency of the fibers and yarns, as well as the fabric construction.

 

Principle:

One surface of test specimen of Water Permeability Tester is under a hydrostatic pressure, increasing the pressure at a constant rate until the other surface of test specimen appears three points of leakage. The water applied from above or below the test specimen.
