Application:

Crockmeter determines the amount of color transferred from the surface of colored and dyed textile materials to other surfaces by rubbing. It applies to textiles with all kinds of fibres in the form of yarn or fabric, whether dyed or printed.

 

Principle:

Rub test specimens of the textile with a dry adn wet rubbing cloth.

Crockmeter provides two combinations of testing conditions through two alternative sizes of rubbing finger: one for pile fabrics, and one for solid colour or larger print fabrics.
